Pong
Was working through a book on iOS game programming and was delighted to find one of the sample starter examples was a game of Pong. Can’t tell you how thrilled I was to have Pong running on my own computer again.
*Geek Nostalgia*. First saw Pong over 30 years ago (fuuuck!) I begged to get the console (this was years before home PCs) for a Christmas present. Can’t explain how exciting it was to plug it in to a TV set and see the electronically generated image on the screen. Basic, just batting a ball (OK, OK a square) backwards and forwards. Simple Things Please Simple Minds. :-)
