As if things couldn’t be more horrifying than they already are, in the course of talking with mum she disclosed something else, an act of domestic violence dad did to her around 25years ago, way before the alcoholism. Absolutely floored by the utter ghastliness for her. She spoke in such a quiet, nervous voice recalling it too, the memory still greatly distresses her.
